Earlier, Kavita Krishnamurty, Kumar Sanu and Jeet Ganguli were seen in the panel of judges for the show. But it was hard for singer Kumar Sanu to travel from Mumbai amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Singer Kavita Krishnamurty is also facing a similar issue. The makers now have roped in three new judges to continue the shoot. Popular singers Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Shaan and Kaushiki Chakraborty will be seen in the show as the judges now, while actor Jisshu U Sengupta will continue to host the show. Kaushiki was earlier seen in the music reality show ‘Super Singer Junior’ which had a successful season on Bengali television. ‘Super Singer’ was in the midway when the lockdown was announced. The participants continued to entertain the audience by shooting special episodes right from their homes. Jisshu, Kumar Sanu, Kavita Krishnamurty and Jeet also shot for the episodes from their respective places. In fact, it was ‘Super Singer’, which first started airing shot-at-home episodes amid lockdown. On the other hand, the shoot of yet another non-fiction show hosted by Sourav Ganguly was likely to start from today (July 15) in a city hotel after its studio fell under a containment zone.
