The InCrowd My tribute to a great Dutch Rhythm and Blues band from The Hague -- The Netherlands [Dutch Liverpool at the time], founded in 1965 and split-up in 1970. It was one of the first bands at the time to incorporate an electric piano/organ like the Animals with Alan Price did/Rod Argent-Zombies. The first line up was: Will van der Hurk "Jerry Lee King": lead vocal and keyboards, Jan Jonkman: guitar, Len Bouman: vocal and bass guitar and You Fook Chong: lead vocal and drums. In 1966 the first three singles and a LP were released by the Polydor label. The InCrowd was far more populair by the audience and other bands for their live on stage act than being a top ten hit wonderband. The band changed en mixed it's line-ups many times by ´new and former´ members. On guitar were several times Aad Kreeft and Karel van Ettinger, a very great Dutch guitarist at the time and on drums Jaap Mossel and Jaques Eckharth and on bass guitar Tony Hagen. Later on in 1967 and 1968 the band recorded two more singles released by the RELAX label. In April 2008 they'll have their very first official concert appearance since many years.
