Best old blues: Johnny "Guitar" Watson. Every Day I Have The Blues, LA, 1971
The oldest live recording of Watson, hard to find bootleg, presented here on YouTube for he first time. Part of an unidentified recording of a blues evening in venue the Ash Grove in Los Angeles, in 1971. Johnny "Guitar" Watson presents a cover of BB King, Every Day I Have The Blues (downloaded around fifteen years ago with KaZaa, probably taken from a local radio broadcast). It's a pity video is missing. Amateur camera's were not available those days. So, I present on photo of Watson during the concert (made by the then 16 years old Dave Alvin), and the front and back cover of my biography.
