Second Line Parade for your New Orleans Wedding! Planning with Alicia at Pennywell Events

Having a Second Line Parade for your New Orleans wedding is something I get asked about a lot as a New Orleans based Wedding Planner. There are 3 things you'll need to have a Second Line for your wedding: 1. A Brass Band Three of my favorite bands to work with are Big Fun Brass Band, Kinfolk Brass Band, and Knockaz Brass Band. 2. A Parade Permit This is a city permit that can either be handled by the band as part of your contracted services or through your wedding planner. 3. A Police Escort for the Parade Without a Police escort, your parade will be stuck on the sidewalk and most bands in the city won't do a second line without a permit or escort.
