Abigail - @realkingdiamond It has been over a year since my last full bass cover upload! I needed to get a new camera (/phone) and new computer to cope with the video editing. I've finally managed to get those, and I also tried swapping to new recording and video editing software (with limited success). So if this seems a little rough around the edges, I know it is... But I'm learning what these programs are capable of and deciding which is best suited for me. Also new - the @seymourduncan pickups installed in my (relatively new) @espguitarsusa Phoenix 1004 bass, plus the stunning @alperiouspickguard scratch plate and truss rod cover... And strap by Richter Straps and Sea Shephard! I chose this song because of how satisfying the verse riff and middle 8 riffs are to play. As I've seen some clips of Timi Hansen play Thunderbird basses, it felt right to use this early King Diamond track to show off the closest bass I've got, my Phoenix LTD. Bass nerds please note the fill at 2:32 and recall the bass break in Mercyful Fate's 'The Oath'.
