First Release Ever: Madrid Concert 1993. Johnny "Guitar" Watson
Accompanied by his Band Johnny "Guitar" Watson presented three shows in 1993, in Madrid, Hessen and The Hague. This Madrid recording is technically not the best. Johnny and the Band neither. The best recording was made by Dutch TV in The Hague, but the Hessen Concert was a little better. Notice how all three shows differ, especially in the improvisations of Johnny.

John Watson Jr., often known professionally as Johnny "Guitar" Watson, was an American musician. A flamboyant showman and electric guitarist in the style of T-Bone Walker, his recording career spanned 40 years, and encompassed rhythm and blues, funk and soul music.
