Allequince was an excellent melodic Dutch metal band little known to the masses. Here's the opening track from their 1st mini-cd called "Vertical Horizons" released by the band in 1991! This is the one and only cd by that great band... Enjoy! Just a bit of a bio by Patrick Class : Allequince The band was founded and formed by Patrick Class and Joost Roset in the beginning of 1989. They looked for a drummer and found in Leon Keppels, thinking at that time, the right person. "Leon was a very nice guy, we always had a lot of fun and was a friend", says Patrick. That's why it was so hard to state the conclusion: Leon's music style differed too much from what Joost and Patrick had in mind. After having found in Jos van de Heuvel the drummer they were looking for Allequince had to start looking for another guitarist and singer. A few guitarists came for audition and Marc Schols was the one they felt musically and socially a link with. Shortly after that they added Marco Miedema as a singer and Allequince was complete. Rehearsals were done in a garage but Allequince was not a garageband as Patrick and Joost were well aware what the stakes were and how and why they wanted to work with original written material making it as far as possible. It resulted in the cd Vertical Horizons. A 4 track cd well received despite its quality. People looked beyond that and gave credits to the band as being a rather successful newcomer in the Dutch hard-rock scene also due to their live performance given in a Dutch contest. Shortly after the cd was recorded, with another singer due to again.....musical differences, the band split. The individual ideas were too much widespread and the original founders Patrick and Joost found themselves lost in depth......concluding....there is no reason to continue. Patrick Class, who was demoing for a record company in Denmark at that time, joined Mindscape with who he recorded the album Mindscape gaining with the band a record deal with EMI. Jos van de Heuvel continued in several projects shortly after the split. Summing up all the positivity. For a few years good music was made, a lot of laughs were shared and history was made, especially now annex 2014 the band has started again, to enjoy themselves making music and drinking coffee, with no strings attached. The line-up is as today: Patrick Class - guitar, Joost Roset - bass, Jos van de Heuvel - drums. Allequince

Since the mid-2000s the group has undergone multiple line-up changes, with Scannell serving as the only constant member throughout. The band has released seven studio albums since 1992 – the most successful of which was their third, Eve...
