Their joie de vivre is unbeatable. We've been friends with them since the early 1980's and we see each other a few times a year at music festivals. So when Cathy popped the question, "Do you have any songs about being twins that would be good for our new family album", they answered, "no", Cathy took that as a challenge. She wrote one, sent it off to the twins and they LOVED it. We went to Seattle to record 2 songs with the Canotes, including "Twins". They even gave us vintage photos of their childhoods.
