Jennifer Jason Leigh 1st screen appearance in The Spy Who Never Was 1976

Unfortunately you never see her face, but this was Jennifer Jason Leigh's first appearance on screen at the age of 14. The Spy Who Never Was aka Death Merchants was directed by her stepfather Reza Badiyi and starred family friend Jason Robards. When Leigh later joined the Screen Actor's Guild she gave herself the middle name Jason in tribute to him. The film itself is a mediocre political spy thriller. So I just spared you the task of tracking it down yourself and watching the damn thing just to see JJL's first appearance on screen.
