Can you be creative and improvise a musical phrase that makes sense (that means with good voice leading and strong rhythm) with triads only? Then go to the next level, and so on. This way you learn the tricks of harmony (which is NOTHING WITHOUT GOOD VOICE LEADING), and melody (which is NOTHING WITHOUT GOOD RHYTHM).
