For the first time in 35 years, James Williamson, returns to the stage to perform the songs he used to do with Iggy & the Stooges. The Careless Hearts are his backup band, and the venue is the Blank Club in San Jose, CA. Me, Im just glad I was there on September 5, 2009 to experience it all. Because I happened to have a pocket camera with me that night, I can relive the experience and share the memories. As a guy who happens to be devoting a big chunk of his time documenting the song LOUIE LOUIE, Im tickled that Richard Berry's most famous song was the big finale that night. James Robert Williamson (born October 29, 1949) is an American guitarist, songwriter, record producer and electronics engineer. He was a member of the proto-punk rock band the Stooges, notably on the album Raw Power and in the reformed Stooges from 2009 to 2016. Between his stints in music, Williamson worked in Silicon Valley developing computer chips.
