Kelley Harrell's MIND-BLOWING Ancestor Connection Strategy

In this episode I welcome Kelly Harrell, an animist, deathwalker, and death doula, to discuss her nature-based soul-tending practice and her latest book, From Elder to Ancestor: Nature Kinship for All Seasons of Life. Kelly delves into animism's crucial role in her work, the necessity of grounding and embodiment, and the importance of developing a relationship with our environment and ancestors, both human and non-human. The conversation touches on the broken path from our animistic ancestry, how we can begin mending it, and the profound wisdom in becoming a true elder. Kelly also shares practical tips for connecting with nature in urban areas, embodying spirituality, and the role of death work in healing intergenerational and environmental traumas.
