Pat Comeau - Out of my mind - Don Rich
This a short video sample of my #2 pedal steel guitar i've built , the sound has more bites and alittle better strings separations than my #3 built PSG...it has a Wallace True-Tone single coil pickup as opposed to my #3 with a GL 10-1 Humbucker pickup, both steel sounds great in my opinion...just different pickups. thanks for listening Pat C
About Don Rich
Donald Eugene Ulrich, best known by the stage name Don Rich, was an American country musician who helped develop the Bakersfield sound in the early 1960s. He was a noted guitarist and fiddler, and a member of The Buckaroos, the backing band of Don's best friend, country singer Buck Owens. Rich was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1974 at the age of 32.
