The best of BLX (The Bill Lordan Experiment) #1 'Simple Life'

"Simple Life" features Eric Turner on Guitar and Vocals and Pat Rizzo on Saxophone. The song is about my moving to the desert where the pace is slower and there are less distractions when creating music. This way of life helped inspire this song and got our creative juices flowing. The music of "Simple Life" was inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughn and the lyrics from living in Hollywood. Pat Rizzo my bandmate from Sly and The Family Stone plays two great Saxophone solos and he overdubbed multiple horn parts for the ending.
