Bad Suns 360 Video Encore at the Hawthorne Theater in Portland

Bad Suns perform "We Move Like The Ocean" and "Salt." 360 Labs Co-Founder Brad Gill secured us access to a performance in Portland on Jan 29th. Upon arriving at the Hawthorne Theater, a renowned all ages venue in Southeast, we found a difficult setting for 360º video recording. With a sold out crowd crushing right up against the stage, we had to improvise a bit to get the shot. Using a mic boom pole with the 360º GoPro array system, we found a perch above the band, stage right, to lower the boom & place the camera right out in front of the band and out in front of the their legion of fans. Not as solid as a fixed placement, it is still an fun perspective of a high energy live show with great music being played to an enthusiastic crowd.
