Sean O'Hagan with Cathal Coughlan, 'Candy Clock' @ Cafe Oto, 6.11.19

I went to Cafe Oto this week to see Sean O'Hagan playing in support of his new album, 'Radum Calls, Radum Calls'. I went mainly because I hoped his Microdisney bandmate Cathal Coughlan would perform too, as he sings on a couple songs on the album. And he was! I was rewarded with hearing this wholly unique big-voiced Irish vocalist again. How it made my night. On backing vocals are Sean's daughter as well as May Robson, who opened the show.
