from liverpool and signed to pye records in 1960 they were one of the early groups to sign a deal....singing in a 'teen style' the couple of singles released didn't do much... but when signing to columbia a couple of years later they did toughen up their sound and actually wrote an a-side 'someone to love/over & over again. in '65...they were twins carol & sue with big sister jean....here in this film appearance from '66 they perform a non-single release...also in the film were the hollies/spencer davis group/ freddy & the dreamers etc...when sucess aluded them they later changed names to 'the satin bells' releasing several singles and going over well in european club dates & t.v......by the early '70's it was all over and i imagine them on the northern cabaret circuit singing in men's clubs for little or no attention....
