Tone talk inspired by the late great Criss Oliva...

All about the tone.... People always say “that’s a great tone”. The science is to have a great base, but the main sound comes from your hands! This little spur of the moment video of Monday’s noodling shows how the sound changes without changing anything but how I play it... Little sloppy here and there it isn’t anything I worked out for you to hear this was just what I played off the cuff... As the video says Criss Oliva once asked me if I always used so much gain. As a little kid and when I didn’t really know exactly how to create that cycle of sound I did need the gain. His sound was built from a clean amp. Words of wisdom Lloyd...words of wisdom! Have a great night and a pleasant tomorrow! Noodles Caffery out 🥳🤣🍝🍜🎸😎😈 #kemperprofiler #ernieballmusicman #lukeguitar #stevelukather #crissoliva #savatage #transiberianorchestra #chriscaffery #doctorbutcher #spiritsoffire
