Here's something you don't hear everyday... ...and, truth be told, you probably wouldn't want to! It's ol' Cowboy Bob going off on a tangent with a Dixieland/Country/Truckin' song. It's probably not so unusual, though, because the flipside of one of Bob's other 45's was a version of Basin Street Blues...so, inside the cowboy, perhaps there was a jazz man trying to get out? This track was released in Australia in 1977 as the flipside of an ATA 45, K-7008. The A. side was "The Beer Song", which I've also uploaded to YouTube. This track was co-written by Bob and his mate Laurie Allen...Laurie had produced Bob's first LP. "Cowboy" Bob was inducted into Tamworth's Country Hands Of Fame" in 1988.
