The follow up single to Mable John's debut on Stax, You're Good Thing Is About To End, was this fine bluesy story, You're Taking Up Another Man's Place. However, this one failed to chart for some reason. It did well in Florida, DC, Chicago, Texas, and Detroit but never got big radio DJ supoort in enough other markets to enable it to make the national charts.

Mable John was an American blues vocalist and the first female artist signed by Berry Gordy to Motown's Tamla label.
