Reggae Interviews had the pleasure of talking in depth to Sanchez earlier this year about his remarkable musical journey which started out in the church in Jamaica during childhood. His songs and music please thousands of fans worldwide each year where he can blast out hit after hit; 'Loneliness', 'Lady in Red', 'Praise Him' and Missing You Now' and Sanchez shares stories of his career with DJ 745 live from Drop Di Bass Studio in St. Mary, Jamaica.

R.E.M. was an American rock band formed in Athens, Georgia, in 1980 by drummer Bill Berry, guitarist Peter Buck, bassist Mike Mills, and lead vocalist Michael Stipe, who were students at the University of Georgia. R.E.M. was noted for Buck's arpeggiated "jangle" guitar playing; Stipe's distinctive vocal style, unique stage presence, and cryptic lyrics; Mills's countermelodic bass lines and backing vocals; and Berry's tight, economical drumming.
