The Country Cavaleers - on ABC TV Early 70s

They were trendsetters. The Country Cavaleers named "Most Promising Country Duo" of the early 70s by Record World are captured in this classic appearance on the legendary Wilburn Brothers Show first seen on ABC TV in 1972. James Marvell and Buddy Good are singing a song written by the late Jack Clement who was inducted into The Country Music Hall Of Fame in 2013 along with Kenny Rogers and Bobby Bare. It was Bobby Bare's uncle Johnny Bare who took the boys under his wing in the 60s helping them with country music.Thanks to their manager John Centinaro, The Cavaleers were picked up by the Buddy Lee Attractions booking agency in Nashville. They appeared with many of the legends in Country Music like Conway and Loretta, Ernest Tubb, Faron Young, Grand Ole Opry Stars, a teenage Hank Williams Jr and many more.
