Anybody There (Mad Alliance Film Productions) "When Derek suffered from a sudden heart attack one night, alone in his condominium, it took all of his strength to scan through the recent contact list on his phone, hoping to make one last call." Derek was a quiet college student that seemed to look gloomy when one looked. Although he had a lot of friends, and family members that cared for him, Derek still felt very alone. His day started like any other day of his—he woke up at the sound of his alarm clock at exactly six in the morning, got ready, and went to class. He didn’t talk to his friends much that day, either. No matter how much they tried to approach him, Derek would just silently nod or shake his head, and silently smile. Derek was also athletic, heading over to Judo training immediately after class with his best friend, Tristan. After a particularly exhausting sparring session with his best, and getting screamed at by their coach for his lack of focus, the two made their separate ways, but not before Tristan reminded Derek of his promise to hang out with his friends that night. Tristan told Derek that they missed him, and, like always, Derek only smiled, almost unbelieving. When Derek got back to his empty condominium, as he lived alone, he ate a healthy dinner of vegetables, and took a quick shower. As he walked out of the bathroom, he noticed his cellphone screen lighting up, informing him of incoming messages, and he went to pick it up. Before getting to read his messages, his face scrunched up in sudden pain, before he fell onto the floor with a loud thud. Derek was suffering from a heart attack, an effect of his former unhealthy upbringing as a child. With all the strength he had left, Derek reached out, grabbing his cellphone from the floor with shaky fingers. He scanned through his recently used contact list, hoping to make one last call.
In mathematics, sine and cosine are trigonometric functions of an angle. The sine and cosine of an acute angle are defined in the context of a right triangle: for the specified angle, its sine is the ratio of the length of the side opposite that angle to the length of the longest side of the triangle (the hypotenuse), and the cosine is the ratio of the length of the adjacent leg to that of the hypotenuse. For an angle θ {\displaystyle \theta } , the sin...
