Elvis scares backup singer
in the movie "Elvis: that's the way it is" (rehearsals and show in Vegas 1970) Elvis walks up to a background singer and scares her while singing. Big kid, he always was :) I let it run til the end not because the vamp of "Suspicious Minds" is that interesting, but it's great to see him do a song that fits him, to see how he's not just a singer but a band leader - his movements are those of a dancing&singing orchestra conductor. It's the one but last song of the show and he's giving it all he's got. The singing's really live, (in these days you had to be capable of singing to become a star, yesh) the footage is taken from different shows as you can tell from the buttons of his jacket. Bad continuity :) Not an Elvis fan but enjoyed the movie.
