Mallary Hope writes 'My Day' Winter Olympics anthem
A north Georgia native is behind the U.S. anthem for this year's winter Olympics in Sochi. 26-year-old Mallary Hope of Whitfield County wrote the song 'My Day' in 2009. NBC's promoting the song in an ad campaign that has Danielle Bradbery singing the anthem. The Winter Olympics begin February 7th.

Mallary Hope Whitener is an American country music singer-songwriter. She released her debut single, "Love Lives On", in July 2009, followed by an EP of the same name on August 4, 2009. Both this song and its follow-up, "Blossom in the Dust," have made the Hot Country Songs charts.
