Joan Baez - I Still Miss Someone [HD]
Joan Baez sings 'I Still Miss Someone' from her 1964 Vanguard album 'Joan/5'. This song was written by Johnny Cash and his nephew Roy Cash, Jr. and was recorded by Johnny Cash in 1958. It has also been recorded by Cash in a duet with Bob Dylan, The Statler Brothers, Emmylou Harris, Stevie Nicks and Linda Ronstadt. The song was written by men and Baez sings it as if she was a man singing the song, so for the purpose of the video I treated the lines "I wonder if she's sorry/For leaving what we begun" to contain "he" instead of "she" and hope it's not too confusing. On the album Baez does vocals and guitar, David Soyer cello and Geno Foreman guitar. The song lyrics are in the video and listed below.
