The Commerford bass tone - or at least my attempt.

One of my most used features in Logic Pro is the stem conversion. Great for fixing post live shows or prepping for gigs. Breaks the post stereo track into stems like vocals and instruments for mixing or deleting. I have always thought Tim Commerford’s bass tone is massive and driven. I don’t care for distortion usually on bass, but I love what Tim’s doing. What started out as an ear training practice, to see if I could replicate his tone using just my bass into my daw. No amps, pedals, analog stuff, - which I love, but as I mentioned this was an exercise for me. I would love to hear your feedback on how it sounds!
