New York artist and musician Ken Butler performs at the future site of the Lancaster Museum of Art in Lancaster, Pa. If you've never seen Butler perform, take some time to watch the videos. It will blow you away. He creates his own musical instruments with ordinary and unusual items, and his musical abilities are also superb. Butler has been featured in different venues, including MTV. In this clip Butler plays a hammer that he attached strings to and plays an Irish melody. He also describes the origins of music and how common items were truly the first musical instruments.
