It's one of the greatest Game Shows of all time this is Blankety Blanks based on the U.S. show Match Game hosted by Gene Rayburn it was very popular for CBS getting great ratings Channel Ten picked up the format in 1976 for an Australian version of Match Game called Blankety Blanks hosted by Graham Kennedy with announcer Don Blake it premiered on Monday January 24th 1977 and it became very successful getting massive ratings for Channel Ten it lasted from 1977 to 1978 before being cancelled at the end of the 1978 season Graham Kennedy's Blankety Blanks is recorded in front of a LIVE studio audience at the Channel Ten Studios in Sydney this is Graham Kennedy's Blankety Blanks. About The Format

The Format is an American indie rock band, formed by vocalist Nate Ruess and multi-instrumentalist Sam Means. Their style has been considered a mixture of indie, alternative, punk and folk music, with elements of 1960s and 1970s pop music. The Format chose their name to make fun of the music industry's inclination towards a cookie-cutter "format" for a hit single.
