Recorded on 1st October 1968, this is the first track from Tim Buckley's second John Peel Session. Unlike his first Peel Session which survived and has been released several times over the years, the tapes of the second session are believed to be lost. This off-air recording comes from a recently unearthed reel-to-reel tape of the broadcast on 13th October 1968. Thanks to Tim on the Peel group for digitising. Peel expresses regret on not attending Tim's recent concert in the UK - this would have been the show at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London, on October 7, 1968 which was recorded and released as the 'Dream Letter - Live In London' live LP in 1990. The other track from this session was a version of Buzzin' Fly, but that remains sadly lost. Recorded at 201 Piccadilly Studio 1, London Produced by Bernie Andrews and Engineered by Pete Ritzema and Bob Conduct 00:00 Love From Room 170 (AKA Love From Room 109 At The Islander (On Pacific Coast Highway)) 03:04 Untitled (AKA The Train) The session sheet does not record the line-up but it's likely the same as at the Queen Elizabeth Hall concert Tim Buckley – vocals, 12 string guitar Lee Underwood – guitar Danny Thompson – bass David Friedman – vibraphone
