This version was recorded between my old flat and The Point Studios. I had just finished recording Colin Blunstone for the ‘Sings His Greatest Hits’ album in 1991, and shortly after started collecting material for his intended solo album. We recorded some demos at The Point Studios before the project was abandoned, with ‘Chocolate Cake’ one of those (now lost) demos.
