The Connells VS Cleveland Indians - see baseball with the band 8/30/89

THE CONNELLS join Jim Clevo and Jeff Reding in catching some baseball before their concert at Peabody's Down Under in Cleveland Ohio on August 30, 1989. The guys try to sucker a security guard into letting them in for free. Finally springing for $4.50 G.A. tickets they end up in box seats behind home plate. The Baltimore Orioles beat the Cleveland Indians at Municipal Stadium that night but some local sparks are captured when ALBERT BELLE hits a home run. Note that the building that would later house Peabody's Down Under is pictured on the opening scene postcard. This is raw footage for VIDMAG TV (Reding's local access cable program). Shot by Jeff on my SONY TR3 8mm camcorder, this rare footage comes from the master 8mm tape .
