Tom Maynard - The Dutchman (Michael Smith)

"The Dutchman" is another favorite song of mine, this time written by Michael Smith. I also recorded this on my CD, "Whispers in the Wind". I learned this song 34 years ago from a man named Mark Ryer, then the leader of a song circle (called a Ceilidh) at the Duxbury Free Library in Duxbury, MA. I think he still is involved with the latest incarnation at the Old Ship Church in Hingham, MA. He is one of a small number of people that encouraged me to become a musician.
