Dave Griffiths - Cocaine

A bit more hat tipping that I've done during this lockdown to the legendary Birmingham guitarist, Trevor Burton and his great band that is sadly no more.... as are many of the pubs listed in the vid where his band used to play on a regular basis. I always loved it when he played reggae songs at his gigs, I know he covered 'Cocaine' by JJ cale in reggae fashion as well as others. I hope Trevor is still playing guitar at home since he was forced to retire due to illness in 2018. A tragic thing to happen to such a talented guitarist. All we have now are the memories of the gigs and a few Trevor Burton Band albums including a recent solo one just before he retired, but great memories they are in both respects. Apparently there are many 'old live' recordings of Trevor's band which are in his loft at home. Maybe one day his talented son's in their own right (Their musical project is Temple St Resistance) can dig them out and get them transferred to the net. guitar, bass, vocal, production by myself
