My Foolish Heart
A great song by Victor Young(music) and Ned Washington(lyrics). This song reminds me of my wonderful companion who came to me late in life. The tune has "ice cream" chord changes and can tolerate some re-harmonization. It will be the standard comparison line for my improvisation development. I'll do another version each time there is some significant progress. The improvisation, is of course, weak, but there is beauty in the tune itself. The bass and drums are Aebersold backing.
