Playing For A Record - The Flaming Lips | Mississippi Roads | MPB
Weirdo Wayne Coyne and The Flaming Lips have been experimenting with their psychedelic rock-n-roll sound for 30 years now, constantly pushing the envelope in popular music. The band's experimentations in the studio took rock-n-roll recording to a new level in 2011 with the release of a 24 hour song! The Flaming Lips recently set another record. This time it was a Guinness Book World record for playing 8 concerts within a 24 hour period, with the majority of stops along the tour, right here in Mississippi.
