Stevie Wonder Cover | All In Love Is Fair (By Maka Esteban)

Ten years ago I was in a crowded Karaoke Bar, and we all witnessed something shocking. A young man stepped on stage and within 15 seconds of singing his first note - caused an entire room to freeze and listen. I'm not exaggerating here. No waiter, bartender or customer moved until he set down the microphone. It was like some scene from a movie. People were openly weeping. The melody he sang that night is Stevie Wonders 1973 Song - All In Love Is Fair. I left that bar with a single regret - that so few people got to hear the raw emotion of what he brings to music. That just seemed sad to me. It’s a decade later, and remarkable that my life has taken me to filmmaking. As you can imagine, today is special to me because as I have the honor of being the director, and executive producer of that young man's first music video. His name is Maka. In the best way that I know how, I've recreated a bit of the magic from that night. This music video, which also happens to be my first production is meant to introduce you to the remarkable voice of singer and songwriter, Maka Esteban.
