Long Promised Road - Carl Wilson
Live version of a song Carl wrote and recorded with the Beach Boys, 1971. He says it was the first song he wrote, although he had a few songwriting credits on earlier Beach Boys albums. His band on this tour was Gerald Johnson on left handed bass; Billy Hinsche (of Dino, Desi and Billy) on keyboards and guitar; Alan Krigger (but his friends call him Krigger) on drums; John Daly on lead guitar; and the beautiful Myrna Smith on backing vocals.

Carl Dean Wilson (December 21, 1946 – February 6, 1998) was an American musician, singer, and songwriter who co-founded the Beach Boys. He was their lead guitarist, the youngest sibling of bandmates Brian and Dennis, and the group's de facto leader in the early to mid-1970s. He was also the band's musical director on stage from 1965 until his death.
