From the playlist "FAITH NO MORE: Introduce Yourself (with Mike Patton on vocals) (2023)": https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOf6HdJ3L7LqMrSXUvyn14w1T5M1HDRDk We Care a Lot is the debut studio album by American rock band Faith No More, originally released in 1985 and distributed through Mordam Records. On the original vinyl release, the band is credited as Faith. No More. on the album's liner notes, back cover, and on the record itself. The title track "We Care a Lot" was rerecorded for their follow-up album Introduce Yourself and released as their first single. This later version of the song was incorrectly listed as the original and the album Introduce Yourself was listed as the début in the sleeve notes for some subsequent releases, such as the 1998 compilation Who Cares a Lot?. The band is known to have re-recorded only one song from We Care a Lot in the studio with current singer Mike Patton on vocals. "As the Worm Turns" was recorded during the Angel Dust sessions. However, a number of live recordings of songs from this album with Patton on vocals have been released over the years. I selected my favorite and cleanest sounding versions of songs from the original album but performed by Mike. I kept the lone Jim Martin song from the studio album as it is an instrumental and also the 2016 mix of the other instrumental, Pills For Breakfast. I left off the only track they recorded in studio with Patton, As The Worm Turns. Arabian Disco and New Beginnings, the songs that close the album were never performed by Mike, so I put 2 live versions with Chuck, one that comes on the deluxe version of the album and another more special one, when he played with Faith No More a year before he died.
