Originally from Newcastle, England, and formed in 1974, Raven has been jumping around on stage since before it was cool. Widely considered to be an early influence on thrash metal, Raven took that energy and speed and combined it with catchy hooks, compelling songwriting, and creative guitar solos. While their early albums are absolutely required listening for anyone into fast melodic metal, Raven is still putting out heavy, catchy albums today.
