The Miami native shares details about tour life and the way in which his band interacted with their legions of female fans. He also declares that his band blazed a trail for other up and coming artist from their region of Florida because they come up during a time when no one knew of people like T-Pain, Rick Ross and Piles yet. As the discussion between Baby Blue and Vlad continues, the rapper talks about the making of Pretty Ricky's second studio album (Late Night Special) and earning production credits on the project while working side by side the late Static Major. Lastly, Baby Blue talks about the internal beefing that was going on amongst the band members and the moment when Pleasure P went off to pursue a solo career. He attributes Pleasure P's departure to lingering "money issues" with their record label.
Derek Vincent Smith (born November 25, 1981), known by his stage name Pretty Lights, is an American electronic music producer. Pretty Lights was originally a music project consisting of Smith and Michal Menert, who left after the release of their first album and returned in 2023.
