Taken from the fantastic compilation called Musica Negra in the Americas on Network records. Buy it ! This wonderful ensemble is from Cuba, home to one of the largest haitian communities in the world. Guede Nibo is a Fiesta on November 1st and 2nd, on the Christian day of the dead. Within Haitian Voodoo, the Guédé are the spirits of Death, while their dances are incredibly sexually provocative and explicit.

Grupo Frontera is an American regional Mexican band from Edinburg, Texas. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Adelaido "Payo" Solís III, accordionist and backing vocalist Juan Javier Cantú, congas player Julian Peña Jr., bajo quinto player Alberto "Beto" Acosta, and drummer Carlos Guerrero.
