Originally recorded while Gladys & The Pips still recorded for Motown's Soul imprint. R.I.P. to one of the original Funk Brothers, drummer Uriel Jones, who passed died yesterday (March 24). Possum was schooled by legendary drummer. He worked with all of the Motown artists, and also played drums live behind the groups when they toured. About The Funk Brothers

The Funk Brothers were a group of Detroit-based session musicians who performed the backing to most Motown recordings from 1959 until the company moved to Los Angeles in 1972.
