Debbie Ryan and Dr. Loughran Share Bond

Former UVA Women's Basketball head coach Debbie Ryan and UVA Cancer Center Director Thomas Loughran, MD, have a history together. They were classmates and friends who knew each other on the court and in the classroom. Fourteen years later, they are reunited. Ryan, a survivor of pancreatic cancer, now works in the development office helping to raise funds for cancer research at UVA.
