The organizers of 70000 Tons Of Metal 2013 have confirmed that a reunited Metal Church will be taking part in the cruise.
Metal Church with Ronny Munroe on vocals, Kurdt Vanderhoof and Jay Reynolds on guitars, Steve Unger on bass, and Jeff Plate on drums, will celebrate their official reunion on 70000 Tons Of Metal. The band will play their debut album Metal Church in its entirety. The 2nd show will be a greatest hits set. Fans can vote for the songs for the greatest hits setlist.
Other bands on the cruise: In Flames, Nile, Sabaton, Lacuna Coil, Immolation, Doro, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, Helstar, Subway To Sally, Anacrusis, DragonForce, Ensiferum, Flotsam & Jetsam, Rage, Turisas, Helloween, Kreator and Gotthard.
Primal Fear have decided released an new video for "Strike" and a recap of the Unbreakable tour and festival shows done by Visions In Fear. Unbreakable was released at the beginning of the year.

Guitarist MICHAEL SCHENKER has been confirmed for two Guitar Center meet & greet sessions, in New York City and Los Angeles.
The New York session will take place on October 22nd at Guitar Center Manhattan (25 W. 14th Street) at 7:00pm. The Los Angeles meet & greet will take place on November 7th at Guitar Center West LA (10831 West Pico Blvd.), also at 7:00pm.

Stone Sour guitarist Josh Rand has made the addition of Fireball Ministry, etc. bassist Johny Chow to their lineup. He stated:
Chow fills the spot vacated by Shawn Economaki. Skid Row's Rachel Bolan was brought onboard for the studio sessions of the bands upcoming double album, "House Of Gold & Bones". Part one of that set will be released through Roadrunner Records on October 23rd.
