Ryan Adams - I Am Dracula (Original Online Release)
A bit of fun from Ryan, not necessarily the finest quality audio! Originally released on 19th February 2022. Included on the "Self Portrait" album. I know something’s up by how she looked at me tonight I glide across the dance floor, I am Dracula Oh these days of celebrations unspool on the floor Like a film that got loose from the canister I know it won’t be long 'til everything is gone And you move away to someplace in the Hampton I know I’m a ghost you should’ve seen me making breakfast My heart is like egg without a spatula Somehow I got jipped and I can only use remote controls Like a haunted pet shop, no tarantulas One day when they figure out sunscreen for the dead I’ll buy a new bathing suit from Amazon instead Of more cat toys I have this reoccurring dream, I’m drunk in Paris in a taxi The woman driving is awesome and wearing an X-Men t shirt She is laughing, playing air drums on the wheel To Captain & Tennille I think I fell in love, I think I fell in love I think I fell and broke my arm on the hotel curb I know something’s up by how she looked at me tonight I glide across the dance floor, I am Dracula
