Eddie & Ernie - You Make My Life A Sunny Day Ever-Soul / Daptone Records # ES-102_2 / DAP-10392. One of the duo’s last recordings. This marvelous cut was recordered in 1971 by the band Phoenix Express (with Edgar Campbell and Ernest Johnson vocals) and was planned to be released on Loadstone label. But the tape was shelved and stayed unreleased until 2002, when Kent Records released it for the first time within excellent compilation of their recordings: Eddie & Ernie ‎– Lost Friends (Kent CD214). Daptone issued this song on 45 for the very first time in 2008 as the b-side to their "Bullets Don't Have Eyes" single - version with this flip was sold exclusively through their website.
