Bass Play Through of “Complete / Lucid Vision” by Brainoil As always, tuning is in B Standard. This track was toward the end of our writing batch for our self titled Lp originally released in 2003 by Life is Abuse (US) & Throne Records (EU). The whole track “Complete” I wrote on my now deceased Ibanez acoustic guitar I bought for $100. Many riffs on the first two albums were written this way. It helped me focus more on the riff and less on tone. I still write most of my riffs on s****y practice amps or with no amp at all. It’s my way of troubleshooting if a riff is lame or not. “Lucid Vision” Nate brought the main riff in and man was I stoked! We had these two pieces and song ideas. We felt like these songs ran their course riff wise but they needed more. Seamlessly combining both tracks seemed like the perfect journey. These songs are always played connected and belong together in our eyes. #brainoil #doom #sludge #crust #metal #selftitled #Complete #LucidVision #lifeisabuse #thronerecords #tankcrimes
