The Look Of Love (Dusty Springfield Live Cover At 4 Pines Brisbane, 16th February 2023)
I was very fortunate to obtain footage of this impromptu jam session featuring myself, Jenny Eveready and Ryn. All of them have made regular appearances at other open mics, so I have got to know them rather well over the last few months or so. Jenny approached us to accompany her, in order to pay tribute to the legendary songwriter Burt Bacharach who passed away recently. Jenny sang lead vocals, I was on keys and Ryn played acoustic guitar I was familiar with the song, having heard it at my workplace on a daily basis! This jam turned out well, despite the very much improvised nature of it.
