Of Montreal Kevin Barnes on fighting Van Halen
Parental AdvisoryExplicit ContentOf Montreal's Kevin Barnes says his band's new look for their tour in support of Paralytic Stalks is inspired in part by the look of street gangs in movies like The Warriors. Barnes is skeptical about his band's chances in a fight, particularly if they were up against Van Halen. "I don't think we'd win," he says. "I think the Van Halen gang would probably beat the s**t out of us, but I could see David Lee Roth maybe being kind to us. Like, maybe he'd just hit us once to get us down, and be like 'Just don't move, just don't move!'"
